In 2008, Walid founded Aksys Capital, Lebanon's largest non-bank affiliated financial services company, regulated by both the Central Bank and the Capital Markets Authority of Lebanon. From 2017 to 2020, he assumed the role of Executive Chairman at ProbusFX, a licensed FX and CFD brokerage, and portfolio management business located in Cyprus, operating under the regulation of CySEC.

Furthermore, he holds a stake in Providenzia Wealth Management, a Swiss-regulated wealth management firm based in Geneva, with a presence in Dubai and Monaco.
